Cone Health is seeking a flexible Registered Nurse (RN) Float to provide coverage across multiple units and departments as needed. The role emphasizes adaptability and collaboration with diverse healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will assess patients, tailor care plans, respond quickly to emergencies, and support admissions, transfers and bed management to ensure smooth patient flow within the facility.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of RN experience.
• Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• BLS certification; ACLS for critical care areas.

Responsibilities

• Transitions seamlessly between units to provide comprehensive care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and staff to deliver patient-centered care.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and tailors care plans based on diagnoses and histories.
• Responds promptly to emergencies and stabilizes patients.
• Assists with admissions, transfers and bed management to optimize patient flow.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
