Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services is hiring a Production Operator to rotate through various roles in the production process, including Soil and Clean areas. You will learn to operate equipment for washing, drying, ironing, and loading linens for delivery to hospitals and medical facilities.

Roles require working knowledge of safety standards and a willingness to rotate between tasks as needed. High School GED preferred and strong teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced plant

Qualifications

• Excellent teamwork skills required.
• Able to rotate through multiple production roles and learn equipment.
• Standards must be met for each position within two weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Sort returned soil linen into appropriate classifications for washing and preparation.
• Open customer returned soil bags (bags weigh ~45 lbs) and pre-sort as required.
• Operate or learn operation of production equipment as needed across Soil and Clean areas.
• Move carts, load finished textiles, and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Rotate across jobs to meet production needs and learn all equipment.
