Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking hourly production workers to support line operations across departments and facilities. The role requires flexibility to learn different positions and assist the supervisor as needed, with emphasis on accurate production and safety.

You will work as part of a team, help orient new employees, follow company policies, and travel between facilities as needed. A good command of English and basic math are required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have good command of English, written and spoken.
• Read, write and perform basic math.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preference for poultry or food processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish various jobs correctly and efficiently on the line and be flexible to learn new positions.
• Help orientate new employees to the jobs with good communication.
• Participate as a team member and support BEST practices.
• Maintain familiarity with Simmons operating systems and policies and communicate concerns and improvements.
• Perform other duties as necessary to support business objectives.
• Travel between facilities and farms as needed to fill in for Driver Helpers.
• Wear appropriate PPE as required.
