Job summary

One Music Schools’ Flourish Music Academy in Colorado is seeking passionate music educators to teach a variety of instruments with 30-minute lessons. You’ll assess new students, create lesson plans, and help students prepare for recitals.

Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and ongoing paid training. We welcome both new and experienced teachers and require a minimum one-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills with all ages and skill levels
• Degree in Music Education or Music Performance
• Ability to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill during interview
• Open to both new and experienced teachers
• Commitment of at least 1 year
• Ability to teach multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Instructing students for 30 minute lessons
• Assessing new student abilities
• Creating lesson plans
• Preparing students for recitals
• Facilitating student participation in recitals
• Assisting students in reaching their goals for learning
• Communicating with parents/guardians on students progress
