Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in examinations and treatments, under supervision. You will manage patient flow, record vital signs, review medical history, and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.

Responsibilities include preparing charts, coordinating with labs and outside facilities, assisting with phlebotomy and EKGs, and ensuring rooms are ready for patient visits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or MA experience required.
• Certified/Registered MA preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment under physician direction.
• Maintain patient flow and document review of systems; record vital signs and update medical history in EMR.
• Prepare patient charts for visits by scanning and reviewing records; ensure all necessary documents are in the chart.
