Job summary

HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge in Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide bedside care using the nursing process, document care, and support interdisciplinary teamwork. The RN may rotate to other units as needed and must meet licensure, safety, and competency requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado (or a multi-state license).
• Nursing diploma from an accredited school of nursing; BSN desirable.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certification for Float Pool RNs; additional certifications based on the unit served.
• Two or more years of RN experience in an acute setting.
• No travel required; floating within HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge only.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process - assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment - per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act.
• Documents patient care administered; promotes interdisciplinary communication and care.
• Demonstrates competency in accordance with age, physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the patient.
• May rotate to other areas beyond the usual service area as needed and perform duties within competency.

Education

Registered Nurse license (Colorado or multi-state)

Nursing diploma (BSN desirable)
