Job summary

Acelero Learning is seeking a Floater Assistant Teacher to support a Head Start classroom and collaborate with a team to implement a child-centered curriculum. You will assist with literacy, numeracy, language development, and social-emotional growth for children aged 0–5, while observing progress and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA or enrollment to complete within 2 years preferred.
• Experience with children aged 0-5 years.
• Physical exam and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Teacher to implement curriculum in Head Start.
• Support positive social interaction and learning in all development domains.
• Plan and deliver activities to build literacy, numeracy, language, and problem-solving.
• Observe and document children's progress and tailor instruction.
• Engage families and communicate progress.
• Maintain a safe, healthy classroom.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
