Job summary

Werfen North America is looking for a Verification Technologist in Norcross, Georgia. This role involves executing system tests for new and modified consumables and performing maintenance on systems. Overview

The Verification Technologist is responsible for performing system tests for development and performance of new and modified consumables, hardware, software, or assays. If you’ve got the necessary skills and experience to excel in this position, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Executes Verification Testing Protocols on all existing Systems and new platforms in development.
• Documents test results in accordance with standard operating procedure.
• Ability to understand relationship between the requirement(s) outlined and actual system results.
• Works independently as well as with the team to complete the assigned work on schedule.
• Possesses a laboratory background with the ability to learn and understand serological tasks like preparing dilutions and performing manual testing with various methodologies.
• Performs maintenance on the systems when needed.
• Maintains lab work surfaces and lab space.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

• Associate’s Degree in Life Sciences or other sciences or technical field preferred.
• Relevant laboratory knowledge and experience, required.
• Experience in a medical testing laboratory with automated testing systems is desired but not required.
