Job summary

Ince-USA in Colorado seeks an acoustics specialist to shape stadium and venue sound quality through architecture, materials, and mechanical isolation, guiding decisions from design through construction to verified acoustical performance.

You will work with AV engineers, conduct field measurements, deliver drawings and narratives, and present findings in client meetings to verify acoustic performance from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Degree in acoustics, architectural/ mechanical engineering, physics, or related field.
• Experience in architectural acoustics or noise control.
• Familiarity with EASE, Odeon, SoundPLAN, INSUL or similar tools.
• Ability to independently develop technical reports, drawings, specifications, and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Architectural and environmental acoustic analysis across stadiums, arenas, theaters, convention centers, and other demanding venues.
• Room acoustic modeling and evaluation of reverberation, speech intelligibility, sound system interaction, and treatment strategy.
• Analysis of airborne and structure-borne sound transmission between spaces.
• Mechanical equipment noise and vibration evaluation, with clear recommendations the design team can act on.
• Acoustic criteria and design guidance for architectural, mechanical, and building systems.
• Close collaboration with our Audio Video engineers to optimize room and sound system performance together.
• Acoustic drawings, details, specifications, reports, and technical narratives.
• Client meetings and interdisciplinary design workshops, presenting your own findings.
• Field measurements, existing-condition surveys, construction observation, and performance testing.
• Post-construction verification and documentation of acoustic performance.
