Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in debt underwriting with a focus on technology sectors.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and business models.
• Strong understanding of capital structures and repayment analysis.
• Curiosity about technology trends and startup/VC ecosystems.
• Ability to work with legal counsel on commercial terms and covenants.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and prospects to build relationships.
• Structure venture debt facilities that balance growth and risk.
• Conduct underwriting analyses including KPI, driven/market, forecasting and valuation.
• Maintain accurate internal debt facility documentation and reporting.
• Develop portfolio management framework for regular performance reviews.
• Collaborate with internal partners and HSBC product teams.
