Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Innovations' Venture team offers a hands-on fellowship inside the venture development process, spanning sourcing, diligence, deal structuring, and early company formation.

As an Intern Administrative, you will work a flexible day shift, about 10 hours per week, supporting analysis across therapeutics and digital health while gaining exposure to deal-making and healthcare innovation.

Qualifications

• Current college enrollment is required.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support diligence on live deals and early venture formation across therapeutics, medtech, and digital health.
• Pull together clinical, scientific, technical, and commercial analysis that helps answer the questions in front of the team.
• Write disease-area and technology overviews, map competitive landscapes, and track relevant trials and product pipelines.
• Dig into clinical and technical datasets - efficacy, safety, trial design, patient populations, endpoints, reimbursement - and benchmark them against comparable programs.
• Turn diligence work into clean PowerPoint pages, charts, and investment committee materials.
• Track companies, finances, clinical data, and regulatory developments.
• Help the team prep for calls with KOLs, clinicians, founders, and advisors - building question lists and summarizing takeaways afterward.
• Assist with early-stage venture formation, including scoping the market and competitive landscape around technologies coming out of Cleveland Clinic.
• Research, compile, tabulate and analyze data and processes for various administrative and departmental matters.
• Assist department personnel in assigned administrative, planning, organizational, technical and professional tasks.
• Provide suggestions or recommendations about department specific projects.
• Prepare and present reports and draft policies and procedures, respond to requests for information.
