Job summary

Allina Health in Shakopee, MN seeks a Respiratory Therapist to join the Cardiopulmonary Services team. You will assess, diagnose and treat patients with respiratory disorders and provide ventilatory support as part of a collaborative care approach.

The role includes 12‑hour night shifts, a 0.6 FTE schedule (48 hours per two‑week pay period) and every‑3rd weekend rotation. A strong emphasis on patient education and protocol‑driven care is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in respiratory care; 0–2 years in a critical care setting.
• License as Respiratory Therapist per MN/WI location; BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.
• Credentialed by NBRC preferred; strong ventilator and airway management.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Educate patients and staff about respiratory conditions and therapies.
• Provide ventilatory support and monitor patient response.
• Collaborate with care team to optimize respiratory outcomes.
