Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Respiratory Department in a skilled nursing facility. You will focus on tracheostomy care, suctioning, breathing treatments, and pulmonary rehabilitation, working with Respiratory Therapists to ensure resident comfort and quality of life.

This Full-Time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, a supportive team, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Must possess a current CPR certification.
• Must possess basic computer skills for electronic health records.
• Ventilator/tracheostomy patient care experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide tracheostomy care and suctioning as part of respiratory care.
• Administer breathing treatments and support pulmonary rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with Respiratory Therapists and interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Assess residents, develop care plans, and supervise nursing staff as needed.

Position Summary

You will work specifically as an RN within the Respiratory Department under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Therapy. This role focuses on tracheostomy care, suctioning, breathing treatments, and pulmonary rehabilitation. You will collaborate closely with Respiratory Therapists and the interdisciplinary team to ensureoptimaloutcomes and promote residents’ comfort, dignity, and quality of life. As needed, you will also assess residents’ needs, develop an individualized care plan, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care in a SNF setting. Such supervision must be in accordance with the current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our community, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or designee to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies andmaintainsestablished standards of practice set forth by the community’s administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN within the state in which you work.

• Must possess a current CPR certification.

• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

• Previous experience with ventilator/tracheostomy patient care strongly preferred, but not required.
