The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a Venous Access Nurse to assess veins, plan and implement specialized care, and educate patients and families in a multidisciplinary oncology setting in Boston.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure in MA/NH, BSN preferred, and at least 1 year of RN experience with ambulatory/oncology exposure; relevant certifications and BLS/ACLS readiness are valued. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality cancer care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a registered Nurse in MA or NH.
• BSN strongly preferred; ADN must complete BSN within 4 years.
• Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience.
• Ambulatory and/or oncology experience preferred.
• Professional nursing certification preferred (OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, RN-BC).
• AHA BLS required (ACLS accepted as minimum).

Responsabilités

• Assess veins and access needs and make recommendations to providers.
• Assess patient and family needs.
• Evaluate home line care routine and support patient outcomes.
• Document care according to regulations.
• Administer medications and perform procedures safely.
• Educate patient and family about vein care and options.
