Qualifications

• Must read a route sheet.
• Previous veneer experience a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Fancy Face veneer panels using route cards to locate stock and match veneers according to sketches.
• Set up and operate shear clip, hand tops joints, and miters with a hand knife.
• Inspect and repair faces before pressing to ensure quality.
• Ensure top quality veneer is used and identify veneer that does not meet quality expectations.
• Observe plant safety rules and keep the work area clean.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
