Responsible for supporting the operational, financial and strategic needs of the department by providing day-to-day support and assistance to the vendor solutions group leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Executes and provides feedback on the Vendor Solutions New Vendor/Carrier Addition process.
  • Engages solutions for diligence reviews at the request of leadership.
  • Tracks projects and deliverables within the Vendor Solutions Practice.
  • Assists in development and owns tracking and reconciliation of practice revenue and expenses.
  • Tracks and analyzes financial performance of certain strategic initiatives.
  • Develops financial models for special projects including the department's budget.
  • Performs analysis and assists on special projects as requested by management.
  • Reviews market publications to identify trends within the employee benefits marketplace and summarizes findings for leadership.
  • Assists in content development for internal newsletters.
  • Assists with implementation of process and productivity improvement for the department.
  • Assists with scheduling and meeting preparation, including presentations and analysis, for internal and external meetings.
  • Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
  • Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degreeor equivalent combination of education and experience in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • One (1) or more yearsrelated work experience
SKILLS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability and motivation to work independently
  • Ability to interface with executives - internal and external
