Job summary

PTR Global seeks a Vendor Security Contractor in Sunnyvale, CA, for a long-term contract. The role requires strong third-party risk management and network security know-how to support IRQ processes and secure vendor connectivity across BZ environments.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with onsite days Tue–Thu and remote Mon & Fri, and involves collaboration with Product, Engineering, Legal, Procurement and more. Interviews are 2 rounds (1 virtual, 1 in-person).

Qualifications

• Experience in third-party/vendor risk management.
• Strong network security experience.
• Proficient with firewall rule implementation (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet).
• Proficient in data management and analytics tools.
• Mac user environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard third-party vendors and establish secure network access.
• Guide business teams toward optimal network solutions and communicate requirements clearly.
• Diagnose and resolve network access issues with a methodical approach.
• Identify and track provisioning errors for timely resolutions.
• Conduct vulnerability scans of supplier environments to ensure secure connectivity.
• Manage intake and administration of contracts and purchase orders.
• Log and maintain large datasets to support tracking and disaster recovery readiness.
• Review and implement firewall rules based on vendor requests, ensuring least-privilege access.
• Operate in a Mac user environment.
