Job summary

TEKsystems in Chicago, IL is seeking a Cybersecurity Sr. Analyst to manage vendor risk and monitor third‑party programs. You'll use GRC tools and work with business units to ensure policy compliance and risk mitigation.

The role is a contract position based in Chicago with a hybrid work setup. A strong background in information security, risk management, and vendor governance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently, and collaborate with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor risks as defined by the Technology Vendor Risk Management process and procedures.
• Perform daily tasks using operational GRC toolsets (Governance Risk and Compliance).
• Audit initial approval of new vendor relationships to ensure policy compliance and risk monitoring.
• Support cross-team coordination to achieve security goals and implement detailed security projects.
• Analyze operating statistics and vendor performance to mitigate risks and meet commitments.
• Monitor third party vendors to confirm risk ratings and compliance with agreements.
