Pay Rate: $18–19/hr


Contract Length: 6 months (with potential for extension)


Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Vendor Relations Clerk I to join a fast-paced operations team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build experience in operations, logistics, or vendor coordination while gaining exposure to a high-volume, collaborative environment.


In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping day-to-day repair and service operations running smoothly—serving as a central point of coordination between customers, vendors, and internal teams.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Coordinate vendor services by receiving customer requests and ensuring timely completion of repairs or equipment needs

  • Track and manage incoming issues in internal systems, following up with vendors and clients to meet deadlines

  • Provide consistent, accurate updates to customers and internal stakeholders

  • Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues and partner with internal teams to resolve them efficiently

  • Review vendor quotes and determine next steps, including coordinating services or ordering necessary parts

  • Ensure accuracy of work orders for reporting and billing purposes

  • Monitor team inboxes and systems for new or escalated requests

  • Maintain and manage orders within your assigned territory to meet team metrics and service expectations

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of more efficient workflows

  • Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges

  • Assist with onboarding new vendors and supporting ongoing vendor relationships

  • Primarily desk-based with frequent computer use

  • Occasional light physical activity (handling items under 30 lbs rarely)

  • Exposure to operational environments is minimal
