Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) - Western Region Consolidated Business Office (WCBO) is seeking a Vendor Specialist to manage patient financial accounts and ensure accurate billing. You will resolve discrepancies in collaboration with billing, coding, and collections, acting as a key liaison with external vendor partners.

The role supports the revenue cycle operations and requires 1-3 years in medical insurance or hospital billing. Office proficiency with Excel/Word is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years medical insurance experience, and/or equivalent experience in a hospital setting.
• High School or equivalent; medical billing/collections education a plus.
• Experience in healthcare billing, patient accounts, EOBs, verification, and revenue cycle operations.
• Familiarity with denial management and appeals.
• Strong attention to detail and auditing experience.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel and Word) and 10-key data entry.

• Manage patient financial accounts and ensure accurate billing.
• Resolve account discrepancies in collaboration with billing, coding, and collections.
• Serve as liaison between UHS facilities and external vendor partners regarding patient accounts.
