Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Business Analyst for a hybrid role combining data analysis, vendor contract analysis, and business process development. Responsibilities include data analysis across claims, encounters, member eligibility, and monthly financial reviews, with potential ad-hoc projects.

Remote nationwide work is available. Education required is a bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years of business or data analysis experience; project management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of business process analysis or data analysis experience.
• Project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of new systems.
• Basic/Intermediate knowledge and experience in Data Analytics, Reporting Analytics and Development, and Audit Reviews.
• Basic/Intermediate knowledge of Claims, Encounters, Authorizations and Prior Authorizations is a plus.
• Basic/Intermediate knowledge of Xcelys, Amysis, UMV, SAS, SQL or SnoFlake Environment is a plus.
• Basic experience of project management is a plus but not necessary.
• Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes.
• Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
