About the Role

We are currently looking for a reliable and skilled Vendor Merchandiser Inventory Specialist to become a key member of our Olathe, KS team. • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Your Impact

In this capacity, you will manage the transportation of hardware bins to and from various client locations, oversee inventory scanning, and prepare orders for upcoming shipments. You will also utilize sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers to organize and stage materials within the facility. Because you will serve as a primary point of contact for our clients, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor is vital to your success.

Core Responsibilities

• Operate a company vehicle to transport hardware bins to customer sites and retrieve those from the prior day.
• Manage the daily handling of 50 to 60 bins, which requires consistent physical lifting and movement.
• Process returned inventory through scanning, while picking and packing orders to ensure the next delivery cycle is ready.
• Help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse by operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers to move materials.
• Ensure high levels of accuracy in all inventory records and order fulfillment tasks.
• Act as a positive representative of the company by interacting with clients in a courteous manner.
• Promote a safe working environment by strictly adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Facilitate clear communication between internal departments and our client base.
• Complete various warehouse or delivery tasks as requested by management.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or an equivalent educational background.
• A clean driving record is mandatory for this role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
• Prior experience in merchandising, inventory management, or delivery driving is considered an asset.
• Physical capability to handle the demands of lifting and moving bins throughout the workday.
• A proven track record of being punctual, dependable, and reliable.
• Strong interpersonal skills to provide high-quality customer service.
• Capacity to repeatedly lift and transport bins weighing up to 50 lbs. during your shift.
