Worldwide Golf Shops LLC is hiring a Vendor Fitter for Roger Dunn Golf Shops. The role focuses on promoting a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf values, and applying golf product knowledge during fittings.

Responsibilities include evaluating customers’ needs, demonstrating golf club features, and using launch monitor data to guide decisions. Flexible hours and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge/background required.
• 1+ years of club fitting experience preferred.
• Stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
• Knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheets, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
• Flexible hours/days as business dictates.

• Assist with merchandise stock, floor moves, and keeping sales floor organized.
• Identify process improvements and participate in training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description:

The Vendor Fitter at Roger Dunn Golf Shops is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the Sure No Problem philosophy. Responsibilities Include:

Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements being flexible and knowledgeable able to work with specified vendors.

Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf club features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf clubs for the customer.

Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.

Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during the golf club fitting process.

Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.

Assist with vendor’s floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s and vendor’s standards.

Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.

Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.

Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications Desired:

Golf knowledge/background is required

1+ years of club fitting experience is preferred

The hourly rate for this position is $20 - $25 per hour. Commission may be applicable based on store location and experience. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
