Job summary

Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking a Vending Service Technician to service vending units in Effingham, IL and surrounding areas. The role requires a valid Class D license and a DOT certificate, with on-site field work and regular service calls.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining vending equipment, completing service orders, and ensuring machines operate correctly before closing tickets. Weekly pay, benefits, and on-the-job training are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Experience with small engines is a plus.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $19.00 Hourly

Vending Service Technician - Effingham, IL and surrounding Areas

Job Responsibilities

• Perform complete service calls for all assigned work orders each day.
• Respond promptly to emergency service requests dispatched by Customer Service.
• Install, remove, and replace vending machines, coolers, and fountain equipment as assigned by the Vending Service Manager.
• Complete equipment tags documenting the condition of all equipment returned to the Marion Service Department.
• Verify that each piece of equipment is operating properly before closing the work order.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for vending and dispensing parts issued.
• Experience working with small engines is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain a Class C NON CDL Drivers License
