Job summary

Compass Group USA's Canteen in Abilene, TX is hiring full-time Route Driver - Vending to deliver products on an established route. The position features a fixed $20.00/hour pay rate, a $2500 sign-on bonus, and a 50-hour work week on average.

You will manage vending equipment, stock and rotate products, and provide excellent customer service while building client relationships. Prior route sales or merchandising experience is preferred, and a valid Non-CDL Class C license is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C license required.
• Preferred 1-2 years of customer service or 1 year related experience.
• Proficient with handheld computer; training provided.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness at client locations.
• Provide excellent client and customer service in all interactions.
• Inform regular clients of new products and services; address issues.
• Set up promotional displays and distribute sales materials.
• Handle receipts, invoices, delivery tickets, and cash collected.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
