Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Canteen unit is hiring immediately for a full-time Service Technician position in Gainesville, FL 32609. Location is on-site at 3009 Northeast 19th Drive, with a Monday–Friday schedule and hours that may vary.

Pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, and training is provided for successful candidates. As a Service Technician, you will repair and maintain vending machines and equipment, respond to dispatch calls, assist in installations, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.
• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company-owned vehicle.
• Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listens to and resolves service complaints.
• Inspects parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; removes and replaces worn or defective parts; repairs broken parts; realigns and adjusts components; tests machine operation following repair.
• Prepares machines for installation at accounts; assists in installations and removals.
