Job summary

Canteen North America is hiring for a full-time MECHANIC I in Tigard, OR. The role covers repairing and maintaining vending machines, reading meters, and ensuring safe operation of equipment.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, with on-site work and company vehicle dispatch support. Experience with vending machines is preferred; the position offers training and a competitive pay rate of $26.25 per hour along with benefits.

Qualifications

• Type I Refrigeration Certification is required.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company vehicle.
• Inspects and repairs vending machines, replaces worn parts, and tests operation.
• Maintains inventory and orders parts; handles equipment shipments.
