Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Canteen in Lenexa, KS is hiring a SERVICE TECHNICIAN (INSTALL TEAM) for a full-time role. You will service, repair, and assist in installing vending machines and equipment, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm and an on-call rotation.

Previous installation truck and mechanical experience is preferred; training is available. Fixed pay rate is $20.00 per hour, with a quarterly branch growth bonus and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous installation truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company-owned vehicle.
• Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service and resolves service complaints.
• Inspects and dismantles machines to identify causes of malfunctions.
• Removes and replaces worn or defective parts; tests machine operation after repair.
• Reviews inventory and orders parts; ships and receives machines; maintains equipment inventory.
• Prepares machines for installation and assists in installations and removals.
• Operates mechanical equipment and small hand tools for machine repair.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
