Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Service Technician in Ringgold, GA to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on vending and breaktime equipment. You’ll diagnose issues, repair equipment, and build strong customer relationships while upholding safety and DOT standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Trade school or technical training and maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the route.
• Must be at least 21 for DOT requirements.
• Trade school or technical training preferred.
• Maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with refrigeration systems and electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex maintenance, repairs, and cleaning on vending and breaktime equipment at customer locations.
• Inspect equipment visually and audibly to diagnose malfunctions and determine root causes.
• Dismantle machines and components to access and repair problem areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory of machine parts on service vehicles and in the warehouse.
• Complete service calls efficiently and perform additional duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including care of company vehicles.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with client-site employees.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety policies, DOT regulations, and company standards.
