Canteen North America is hiring for a full-time Vending Attendant in Little Rock, AR. The role covers vending services at a single location, cash handling, and basic maintenance of machines. No prior experience is required and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receives delivery of beverages, bakery products, snacks, and sundries at the customer's site.
• Stocks vending machines and coolers; handles stale/rejected items and makes change.
• Records transactions on the appropriate card and/or electronic device; lengthens accountability for cash and product.
• Called on existing customers to determine adequacy of service.
• Prepares order forms for food and pastry products.
• Informs regular customers of new products or services.
• Listens to and resolves service complaints.
• Performs routine maintenance on and sanitation of machines; keeps storeroom and vending area clean.
• Sets up merchandise and promotional displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

• We are hiring immediately for full time VENDING ATTENDANT positions.
• Location: Canteen - 4301 Mauney Road, Little Rock, AR 72206. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday; 4:00 am start time. Some weekends required. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous experience is not necessary.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives delivery of various items, including soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items and sundries at customer's place of business.
• Stocks shelves or racks in vending machines and coolers; collects stale, rejected or unsold merchandise; collects money from machines, and refills bill and coin changers.
• Records transactions on appropriate card and/or electronic device.
• Is accountable for cash and product.
• Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service.
• Prepares order forms for food and pastry products.
• Informs regular customers of new products or services.
• Listens to and resolves service complaints.
• Performs routine maintenance on and sanitation of machines; maintains clean storeroom and vending area.
• Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
