Zusammenfassung

Innova Solutions is hiring a Venafi Engineer (PKI Specialist) for a 12–18 month contract. The position is onsite five days a week in Chicago, Denver, or Washington DC, focusing on Venafi TPP, TLS Protect, and certificate lifecycle management.

You will automate certificate workflows, apply patches, and collaborate with DevOps/ IAM teams while ensuring security best practices and strong Windows/Linux troubleshooting.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of PKI engineering and certificate lifecycle management experience.
• Strong knowledge of encryption technologies (symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, digital signatures, CAs).
• Proficiency in automation scripting (PowerShell or C#) and communicating technical solutions clearly.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with code signing and securing cloud-based apps.
• Extensive PKI/TLS certificate management and SDLC experience.
• Experience with Venafi TPP, TLS Protect, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server, RHEL/Linux, IIS, and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSH).
• Strong troubleshooting skills on Windows platforms and Venafi APIs.

Aufgaben

• Administer Venafi TPP processes for certificate provisioning, renewal, and revocation.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell or C# for certificate and Venafi backend operations.
• Apply Venafi patches/upgrades with testing and documentation.
• Design automated certificate workflows using Venafi APIs.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IAM, Engineering, Deployment, and Operations teams.
• Troubleshoot issues in Windows Server 2022 and RHEL/Unix environments.
• Make engineering decisions and implement automation solutions.
• Operate independently with initiative in a structured environment.
