Job summary

Master’s Transportation in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Production Porter to organize the production lot, track vehicle locations, and coordinate vehicle movement. A CDL may be preferred for certain duties.

This role offers hourly pay from $19 to $26 with potential progression based on experience and endorsements. Major responsibilities include receiving chassis, staging units for production, and assisting with deliveries, while maintaining logs, safety, and efficient workflows in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate company vehicles, heavy machinery, and equipment with minimal supervision, following all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Basic computer, data-entry, and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to meet the physical and scheduling requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the production parking lot to support safe vehicle movement.
• Safely operate heavy machinery and equipment with minimal supervision.
• Maintain logs of chassis and vehicle locations.
• Receive, inspect, and process new chassis arriving for production.
• Stage chassis and vehicles according to production schedules and priorities.
• Coordinate with Production to route work-order documentation.
• Perform quality test drives when properly licensed and authorized.
• Receive deliveries and verify items are directed to the appropriate area.
• Assist Rental department with end-of-month lot reporting by confirming vehicle locations.
• Prepare toolboxes and equipment for newly hired technicians.
• Maintain safety, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
