Job summary

Road & Rail Services in Elwood, IL is seeking a Vehicle Unloader to safely remove newly manufactured vehicles from railcars and position them in designated lots. This is an active, outdoor role that requires teamwork and a focus on safety.

The position offers a daytime schedule of 4 days on, 3 off, with pay of $19.98 per hour and benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and a 401(K). Opportunities for growth within the company are available.

Qualifications

• Able to climb a ladder up to 20 feet
• Able to work outside all year long
• Possess valid Driver's License
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Enter railcars and safely drive vehicles off the railcars
• Move vehicles to designated locations throughout the facility
• Follow established traffic patterns and parking procedures
• Inspect your work area and report vehicle damage or safety concerns
• Work closely with team members to keep vehicles moving safely and efficiently
• Follow all company, customer, and site safety requirements
• Work outdoors throughout the year in changing weather condition
