Job summary

Pick Your Part is seeking a dedicated driver to operate a company vehicle for auto-parts pickups from auctions and private parties. You will load, verify, and document vehicles, process payments with a company check, obtain signatures, and deliver loads to the plant while maintaining strict safety and DOT compliance.

The role requires a clean driving record, familiarity with DOT regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced yard environment with potential overnight travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year related experience preferred.
• Warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Commercial driving experience or certificate preferred; valid license and safe driving record.
• Must qualify for corporate insurance programs and meet DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company vehicle safely to pick up vehicles from auctions or private parties.
• Load vehicles onto the truck and verify the load.
• Collect paperwork and obtain signatures confirming accuracy.
• Pay for cars with company check and deliver to plant.
• Record notes and ensure load integrity at pickup locations.
• Adhere to DOT procedures and company policies.
• Complete annual training and comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Walk the yard and manage debris during removals.
