Job summary

Fields Motor Cars of Bellevue is hiring transport professionals to move vehicles between dealerships, customers, and service facilities. You will operate company trucks and trailers, load and unload vehicles, and document transport details.

A strong safety focus, reliable reliability, and good communication are essential as you represent the dealership with customers and partners. The role requires adherence to safety standards, independence, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience operating a truck and trailer.
• Experience loading, securing, and transporting vehicles preferred.
• Ability to safely maneuver and back a vehicle with a trailer.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and driving-record review.

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles safely to and from dealerships, customers, vendors, service facilities, and other designated locations.
• Operate company-owned trucks and single-vehicle auto transport trailers.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of transport vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition before and after transport.
• Maintain accurate records of all vehicle transports, including pickup and delivery information.
• Coordinate with dealership personnel regarding vehicle pickup and delivery schedules.
• Maintain all transportation safety standards and represent the dealership professionally in interactions.

• Immediately report vehicle damage, equipment concerns, accidents, or other transportation-related issues
• Coordinate with dealership personnel regarding vehicle pickup and delivery schedules
• Maintain all company and applicable transportation safety standards
• Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with customers, vendors, and other dealerships
