The Opportunity

This position services the Orlando, FL area and reports to a designated transportation hub within the region.

The Vehicle Transport Associate is responsible for safely transporting purchased vehicles from customer pickup locations to designated auction facilities throughout an assigned region. In this role, you’ll work closely with Vehicle Acquisition Specialists, dispatch personnel, and auction partners to support the Company’s vehicle remarketing operations.

Employees report to a designated hub location at the beginning of each shift, receive transportation assignments, and travel throughout the region delivering vehicles to assigned destinations. As business needs require, you may also rotate into a driver role responsible for safely transporting employees between operational locations, auctions, and vehicle pickup sites.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving, working independently, managing their own schedule within a structured environment, and contributing to a fast-paced automotive operation.

Why This Role Works

You’ll spend your days on the road rather than behind a desk, working independently while remaining connected to a supportive operations team. This role provides the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, travel throughout your assigned market, and play a critical role in the vehicle acquisition and remarketing process.

You’ll be equipped with company-provided technology and tools necessary to receive assignments, navigate routes, document vehicle conditions, and communicate with team members in the field.

For individuals who value autonomy, responsibility, and a safety-first environment, this position offers meaningful work with clear expectations and daily variety.

What You’ll Do
  • Safely transport purchased vehicles from designated pickup locations to assigned auction facilities
  • Conduct vehicle inspections before and after transport, documenting vehicle condition, mileage, and any observed damage
  • Verify VINs, vehicle information, and required transport documentation
  • Follow established transportation routes, safety procedures, and operational guidelines
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, management, and operational partners regarding assignment status
  • Utilize company-provided mobile applications, GPS navigation tools, and communication systems to complete assignments
  • Accurately complete required paperwork, electronic records, and delivery confirmations
  • Safely transport employees between designated hub locations, vehicle pickup sites, auction facilities, and other operational locations as assigned
  • Operate approved transportation vehicles while maintaining professionalism and a strong commitment to safety
  • Coordinate transportation schedules and routes to support operational efficiency
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections when operating company transport vehicles
  • Promptly report accidents, vehicle issues, traffic violations, or safety concerns
  • Maintain punctuality, attendance, and adherence to assigned schedules
  • Work safely in varying weather, traffic, and outdoor conditions while supporting daily operational goals
Who Thrives in This Role
  • Dependable individuals who take pride in safe vehicle operation
  • Self-starters who work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Professionals who maintain a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Individuals with strong situational awareness and defensive driving skills
  • Team members who adapt well to changing priorities and assignments
  • Organized professionals who can manage multiple transportation assignments throughout the day
  • Customer service-oriented individuals who represent the company professionally in the field
  • Drivers who enjoy working independently while supporting a larger team operation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous professional driving, transportation, delivery, logistics, automotive, or related experience preferred
  • Experience operating various vehicle makes and models preferred
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of licensed driving experience preferred
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required and must be maintained throughout employment
  • Must remain insurable under the Company’s automobile insurance program
  • Proficiency using smartphones, GPS navigation, mobile applications, and electronic communication tools
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
  • Ability to safely transport both vehicles and passengers
  • Ability to drive for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
