Job summary

Applus IDIADA is seeking a Driver Operator to gather data for customer specifications across North America and document observations through our Data Acquisition system. The role requires driving vehicles on predefined routes, performing pre/post-shift inspections, and ensuring accurate data collection.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, 5 years of licensed driving experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record for at least 3 years, and preferably experience with ADAS

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 5 years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for 3+ years.
• Experience with ADAS features preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out driving services on vehicles per customer specifications.
• Drive on predefined routes across terrain and weather conditions.
• Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections.
• Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.
• Drive safely and follow traffic regulations; report to project manager.
• Document observations clearly in the data system.
