Job summary

A leading automotive service provider is seeking a Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to carry out servicing, repairs, and MOT tests to manufacturer and DVSA standards. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and a Full UK Driving Licence. This role offers competitive salary starting at £33,000 to £35,000, with the opportunity to earn over £40,000 including paid overtime and additional training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards.
• Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards (if qualified).
• Perform Cam belt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements.
• Conduct Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics.
• Undertake New Car PDI’s & Used Car MPC’s.
• Complete Warranty Repairs.

• Cam belt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
• Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
• Carry out New Car PDI’s & Used Car MPC’s
• Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

• Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7)
• Hybrid/EV Qualifications
• Manufacturer Accreditations
