Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Module Vehicle System Synthesis Manager (VSS) to own end-to-end functional and physical integration of assigned vehicle modules. You will lead design convergence, validation, and crossfunctional engineering activities across programs, acting as the technical integrator between product requirements, system teams, styling, safety, regulation, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in vehicle systems engineering.
  • Experience leading crossfunctional engineering teams is required.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle validation, V&V, and test execution.
  • Experience with regulatory, safety, NCAP, diagnostics, and compliance topics.
  • Ability to lead design convergence between styling, feasibility, and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end functional and physical integration of assigned vehicle modules.
  • Lead design convergence, and validation activities across all vehicle programs in scope.
  • Act as the technical integrator between product requirements, system teams, styling, safety, regulation, and manufacturing.
  • Define, maintain, and control the module technical scope and feature content.
  • Coordinate and drive crossfunctional engineering teams to meet QCDP targets.
  • Ensure timely delivery of design, integration, and validation milestones.
  • Oversee digital and physical validation plans and execution across tech centers.
  • Ensure regulatory, safety, diagnostics, and compliance conformity.
  • Lead technical tradeoffs, arbitration, and escalations with CME/CVE.
  • Report project status, risks, and KPIs to leadership.

Basic Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of vehicle validation, V&V, and test execution
  • Deep understanding of regulatory, safety, NCAP, diagnostics, and compliance topics
  • Experience managing design convergence between styling, feasibility, and customer needs
  • Ability to perform technical arbitration and tradeoff decision making
  • Strong program execution, prioritization, and milestone management skills
  • Experience with resource and budget planning in engineering projects
  • Comfortable working in a global, multisite development environment
  • Clear, concise executivelevel communication and reporting skills
