Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer for Vehicle Software and Frontend in the Costa Mesa area. You will design and deploy real-time, map-based interfaces for sensor data and control of autonomous assets, while handling large data streams with performant rendering.

Applicants should have a CS/EE-related degree, strong React experience, and a mindset for innovative problem solving. US Top Secret clearance eligibility and up to 15% travel are required.

Qualifications

• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience with frontend applications, preferably data-intensive or map-based systems.
• Experience with React.
• Degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy a real-time, map-based interface for sensor data and commanding assets.
• Fetch and manage large data streams while maintaining performant rendering.
• Build immersive image-viewing experiences in a web-based platform.
• Take ownership of initial, well-scoped projects with clear objectives and collaborate to deliver results.
• Translate end-user needs into features while balancing UX with engineering constraints.
• Travel up to 15% of time to test and deploy capabilities in the real world.
