Job summary

Moss Bros. Auto Group in Moreno Valley, CA is seeking a Service Technician to perform repair orders efficiently and accurately. You will test-drive vehicles, diagnose systems, and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications, while maintaining excellent customer communication and service standards.

We require 2+ years of technician experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ASE Certification. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential for this role in a

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills; ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment; team player who collaborates.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components/systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C).
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services and provide time estimates for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

• Pay range for this position is $5,000-$10,000 monthly

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
