Job summary

Briarwood Ford in Saline, MI is seeking a reliable Service Porter to support our service department by keeping the lot clean and organized while delivering friendly, professional customer service.

As a Service Porter you will move vehicles between bays and parking areas, assist technicians with tools and parts, wash and prep vehicles, and help maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced dealership.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks including lifting and walking for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience as a porter or in a similar role is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles between service bays, customer parking areas, and other locations on the lot safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the service lot, parking areas, and service department.
• Assist technicians by delivering tools, parts, and materials as needed.
• Wash and vacuum vehicles to ensure they meet Briarwood Ford's standards before returning them to customers.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers and team members.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and dealership policies.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Make key tags for vehicles.
• Wash customer vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
