Job summary

Ontario Hyundai is seeking a Service Lot Attendant-Porter to move vehicles within the service area, prep them for delivery, and keep the lot clean and orderly. You will also assist in transporting customers when needed and support the service team to ensure positive experiences for guests.

Qualified applicants have a California driver’s license with a clean record, the ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions, and strong communication and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Unrestricted California driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Able to operate vehicles safely in tight spaces.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Must be customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicles to and from service areas and lot as needed.
• Installs protective coverings and tags in vehicles brought in for service.
• Services vehicles with gas, oil, and water.
• Washes and cleans vehicles as needed.
• Keeps lot appearance clean; drives snow/debris removal as needed.
• Maintains shop cleanliness (windows, doors, floors).
• Transports customers to and from their home when needed.
• Ensures required documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
• Follows all safety and security procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
