Job summary

Smithfield in Missouri is seeking a dedicated Sanitizer to safely clean interiors and exteriors of company vehicles to the highest biosecurity standards. You will wash and sanitize trucks and trailers and assist the Sanitation Lead with equipment maintenance.

The role requires hard physical work, a strong commitment to teamwork, and the ability to work an average 60‑hour week, including weekends and holidays. Flexible, safety‑minded, and on‑call as needed. Compensation is $18.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Washes and sanitizes trucks and trailers.
• Cleans interiors and exteriors of cars and pickups when required.
• Assists Sanitation Lead with equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Follows IPS safety requirements and company policies.
• Abides by all environmental, biosecurity and safety laws and procedures.
• Reports environmental issues to supervisor and assists with grounds upkeep.
• Reads and understands the emergency notification process for the site.
