Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Vehicle Project Manager for a leading vehicle development team in Foster City, CA, to drive hardware programs from concept through end of life. You will coordinate cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance to deliver on time and within scope.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3+ years in automotive hardware project management, with strong planning, risk tracking, and change-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of project or program management in automotive hardware or hardware systems development.
• Experience managing products through the hardware lifecycle, including structured change management.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and Slack; PLM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle hardware projects from concept to end of life.
• Build and maintain detailed project schedules; track milestones, dependencies and risks.
• Lead change management activities for hardware systems through approval processes.
• Facilitate program meetings, milestone reviews and readiness assessments.
• Act as a central communication hub between engineering, operations, and stakeholders.
