Job summary

Don Ayres Honda is seeking a dependable Vehicle Prep Porter / PDI Technician to join our fast-paced team. You will prepare vehicles for delivery, clean and detail to standards, and assist with online merchandising and inventory photos.

As you gain proficiency, you may advance into expanded PDI responsibilities for new Honda inventory, including Pre-Delivery Inspection and accessory installation. We offer paid training and a clear path for growth within our dealership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual-transmission vehicles preferred.
• Strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
• Positive attitude and customer-first mindset.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and dealership display.
• Wash, clean, fuel, and detail vehicles to dealership standards.
• Prepare vehicles for Sales team and online merchandising.
• Take inventory photos for online presentation.
• Install buyer’s guides, stock tags, license plate brackets, stickers, and required addendums.
• Move vehicles safely within dealership and to/from external services.
• Help maintain organized vehicle lots and dealership cleanliness.
• Communicate with Sales, Service, Parts, and Reconditioning to keep vehicles moving through workflow.
