Job summary

Webb Automotive is seeking a part-time Sales Porter to join our team in Highland, IN. The role focuses on cleaning and detailing vehicles, preparing inventory for customers, driving inventory as needed, and keeping the lot and showroom organized.

This entry-level position emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude. Ideal candidates are at least 18, have a clean driving record, and are willing to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing and able to submit to a Background Check and Drug Screen.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a mature, disciplined personality.
• Effective communication, organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, approachable and maintains a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Prepare new and used vehicles for customers, display, and service.
• Fuel and wash available inventory.
• Maintain lot cleanliness, remove garbage, weeds, and dirt.
• Clean and upkeep showroom and vehicles.
• Organize and move vehicles per dealership standards.
• Photograph inventory for the website.
• Handle vehicle pick-ups, drop-offs, and dealer trades.
• Ensure vehicles are locked at closing and properly stocked with keys and stickers.
• Drive vehicles safely for customers and for dealership needs.
• Perform snow and ice removal and general maintenance and safety.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.
