Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking a Porter in Mesquite, TX. You will assist by cleaning customer vehicles before delivery and keeping the shop and office clean. The role emphasizes attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced repair environment.

Responsibilities include upholding the WOW plan, interior and exterior vehicle cleaning, parking-lot upkeep, pre-washing vehicles, and transporting cars to sublet locations as needed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED preferred; ability to multitask; automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision; 18 years or older; valid driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete; transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
