U-Haul in Poway, California is seeking a Vehicle Pre-Inspector. You will be the first contact to evaluate incoming vehicles, determine repair procedures, and diagnose problems using U-Haul’s proprietary technology.

Qualifikationen

• Positive attitude and collaborative mindset for a fast-paced team.
• Ability to work in a high-speed environment and follow safety procedures.
• Familiarity with automotive/trailer mechanics and diagnostic tools.
• Experience diagnosing with computer-based systems and vehicle diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Aufgaben

• Perform thorough evaluations of equipment through multipoint inspections.
• Understand and implement U-Haul quality standards.
• Ability to diagnose and recommend courses of action (parts and labor) Allocate necessary parts and labor on work orders for technicians.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs as needed.
• Continued learning via U-Haul education to stay up to date with current technology and our new fleet Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
