Job summary

Cox Automotive is looking for a Vehicle Photographer I to capture and process high-quality images of vehicles at a Cox location. You will upload photos for ECRs, ensure image quality, and maintain familiarity with the DQI website.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma/GED and typically less than 2 years of related experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to stand or sit for long periods are required. Work shifts are Day, Monday–Friday, with an on-site requirement.

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
• Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
• Maintain knowledge of Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
• Re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images.
• Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following SOPs if location is equipped.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and supporting Safety Excellence programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation
Hourly base pay rate is $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Responsibilities

• Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
• Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
• Maintain knowledge of Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
• Re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images.
• Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following available standard operating procedures (SOPs) if location is so equipped.
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, manual dexterity.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.

Preferred:

• 1 year of experience in photography preferred experience in digital and computer processing a plus.
• Basic computer software skills are preferred.
• Certification or education in photography a plus.

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 7:30am - 4:00pm
